Uther the Lightbringer is a character from the Warcraft series, first appearing as a playable hero in Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and returning as a supporting character in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. He is a holy paladin and the leader of the Knights of the Silver Hand, who was instrumental in defeating the Horde during the Alliance's second war against them. He later mentored Prince Arthas Menethil and was later still killed by him following his corruption by Frostmourne.
